Reuma Sol

Reuma Sol is a treatment and recreation centre in Costa Blanca, Spain. Solar energy covers 60 per cent of the centre's energy use for room heating (underfloor heating), domestic hot water as well as an indoor and an outdoor swimming pool. Total area of solar collectors: 420 square metres. Solar energy production: 190.000 kWh per year.

Solar energy is used for under-floor heating, domestic hot water as well as both an outdoor and an indoor swimming pool. Heat from the solar panels covers 60 per cent of the centre's heating demand, while the rest is met by natural gas. The solar collectors covers a south-facing roof of the main building, and are in addition placed on each of 11 small buildings with a total of 44 apartments.
